Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (an advantage).

Acotec Sdn Bhd is seeking a Head of Sales & Marketing for the Northern Region. The role involves planning and implementing the Company’s Sales and Marketing programs effectively. The individual will develop new business opportunities, provide technical advice and assistance to customers, prospects, and authorized agents appointed by the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales results in line with set targets for Head, Sales & Marketing.
  • Provide leadership, training, supervision, and motivation to the sales team in the region to meet sales targets.
  • Gather sales and marketing information to identify business opportunities.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer needs, market trends, and competitor actions.
  • Handle sales inquiries, provide product information, arrange site visits and demonstrations, and follow up until closing sales.
  • Support authorized agents within the region.
  • Coach, guide, and give performance feedback to staff.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and reports for meetings or management review.
  • Assist the CEO in fostering a high-performance culture through effective performance management and communication.
  • Visit project sites to resolve issues and recommend improvements.
  • Participate in strategic planning with senior management to meet division goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve division objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for new product development and coordinate with production.
  • Manage relationships with customers, agents, partners, and government bodies to develop networks.
  • Develop and manage pricing strategies in consultation with senior management.
  • Expand market share through industry and competitor analysis.
  • Oversee collections and credit control.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of Sales & Marketing experience in IBS, concrete pre-cast, or related building materials. Experience in property development/construction sectors is advantageous.
  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields (business, marketing, engineering).
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (an advantage).
