Overview:

We are seeking a visionary Head, Finance & Regulatory (Technology) to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in Solution Architecture and Design, as well as experience in successfully implementing and managing Finance and Regulatory Reporting systems within financial institutions or large complex organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of innovative technology solutions that align with finance and regulatory requirements, ensuring scalability and security.
• Project Execution: Collaborate with finance and regulatory teams to manage technology projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards.
• Technology Oversight: Oversee technology operations, ensuring systems are optimized for performance and efficiency.
• Policy Development: Develop and implement IT policies and systems that support strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Requirements Analysis: Analyze the technology needs of various departments and design solutions that effectively meet those needs.
• Innovation and Transformation: Identify opportunities for technology transformation and drive initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights on technology trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in Solution Architecture and Design, particularly in the context of Finance and Regulatory Reporting systems within financial institutions or large organizations.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, with certifications in Agile, Scrum, or ITIL preferred.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale technology solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a creative approach to complex challenges.
• Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance is a plus.
