Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a senior Technology & Operational Risk Audit leader to provide independent assurance across technology, cybersecurity, digitalisation, data and AI, as well as operational risk. The role oversees a risk-based audit portfolio and senior stakeholder engagement.

You will report to the Country Head of Internal Audit and lead a team of auditors to elevate technical capability and audit quality in a dynamic financial services environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• 16 years of experience in technology and risk audit.
• Experience in banking/financial services exposure is preferred.
• Audit project management with emphasis on prioritisation, resource deployment, stakeholder clearance, AI assurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent assurance across technology, cybersecurity, digitalisation, data, AI and operational risk.
• Lead the risk-based audit portfolio and complex technology and cyber audits.

We are looking for a senior Technology & Operational Risk Audit leader to provide independent assurance across technology, cybersecurity, digitalisation, data, AI and operational risk. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for the risk-based audit portfolio, complex technology and cyber audits, operational risk assurance, data/AI-enabled auditing and senior stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will bring 20+ years of relevant experience, strong banking/financial-services exposure, deep technology and cybersecurity credibility, proven Internal Audit leadership and the ability to challenge senior stakeholders.

About the manager/team

You will report to the Country Head of Internal Audit and work closely with senior Technology & Operations leaders, Operational Risk, Group Technology Audit and specialist data/innovation teams. You will lead and develop a high-performing team of technology and operational risk auditors, with a strong mandate to strengthen technical capability, succession planning, audit quality and future-ready skills across cybersecurity, digitalisation, analytics and emerging technology.
