What's the role?
Are you passionate about Talent Acquisition? As the driving force behind our Digital Hub in Malaysia, you'll lead and shape our recruitment strategy, working directly with an ambitious Head of HR. This is your chance to take full ownership of our hiring goals, playing a pivotal role in our organizational growth and success.
What does the role involve?
The Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and delivering our talent acquisition strategy. You will ensure that we have robust hiring plans, processes and attraction strategies that enable the team to be effective in delivering the organizations hiring needs.

  • Leadership and development of the TA Team; Talent Acquisition Partners (Recruiters) and Administrator
  • Collaborate with Finance and Controlling teams to develop a robust annual hiring plan and management of the Recruitment budget
  • Drive consistent hiring processes and candidate experiences across the end to end recruiting and onboarding process
  • Evolve the EVP (Employee Value Proposition) and Employer Brand to attract the best talent
  • Develop and manage attraction channel strategies such a 3rd party agency, partnerships e.g universities, social media platforms, LinkedIn and employee referrals
  • Establish and utilize a strong external network and recognized industry bodies, in order to build a good understanding of the external market situation and knowledge of the external TA landscape and best practices
  • Drive insights (via market/business/TA community), fully leveraging various TA systems to connect to the bigger picture and drive the strategy
  • Functional performance management through establishing and measuring a key set of KPIs e.g. time-to-hire, source-of-hire etc
  • Work in partnership with HR Business Partners and HR Operations to deliver exceptional HR practices to stakeholders
  • Play and active role in the Global TA community including ad hoc project work
  • Tech Stack: Workday (HCM), Haufe (ATS) & Beamery (CRM/TRM)
What you need is:
At heart, you will be a passionate TA professional who understands the criticality of great candidate experiences (hiring through onboarding) and building a brand to attract “passive” talent.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of experience in leading a high performing Talent Acquisition Team
  • Experience managing employer branding initiatives including targeting passive talent
  • Sound knowledge of various sourcing techniques / tools (e.g. professional platforms, social networks)
  • Expert in TA technology; Candidate Databases, Application Tracking System (ATS) and Talent Relationship Management
  • Exceptional at interviewing and assessing talent
  • Knowledge of labor regulations in Malaysia
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with candidates as well as with internal teams and external partners
  • Strong verbal (English) as well as non-verbal communication skills
