You will be responsible for and be in command to develop and implement policies and procedures in maintaining the highest security standards for Company. You are also expected to ensure the compliance and commitment to security rules and knowledge of hazards and threats to safety within Company's compound.
Work Life:
Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards
Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
Plan and coordinate security operations for specific event
Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
Review reports on incidents and breaches
Investigate and resolve security related issues
Create reports for management on security status
Analyse data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
Requirements:
Preferably police officer / ex-police officer with ASP (Assistant Superintendent) Level
Able to communicate in English (need to deal with customer, external customer audit, ISMS/ISO audit)
Have knowledge and experience in ISO, PCIDSS or SOC standard (preferred)
Experienced in design and managing security system such as intelligent CCTV system, Card Access system, intrusion detection system, bomb detection system, X-ray scanning (preferred)
Proven experience as security manager or similar position
Experience using relevant technology and equipment
Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedure
Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Committed and reliable
Tertiary education in security administration or similar field will be an added advantage
