Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and oversee all security operations within the company premises and facilities.
- Develop and implement security policies, SOPs, and emergency response plans in line with Malaysian law (e.g. OSHA 1994, Private Agencies Act 1971, Factories & Machinery Act).
- Manage and supervise in-house security teams and outsourced security service providers.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, site inspections, and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and propose preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with CIDB, DOSH, BOMBA, local councils, and other relevant authorities.
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems, perimeter fencing).
- Build strong relationships with Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), BOMBA, local councils, and emergency services to ensure effective collaboration during incidents.
- Investigate and report all incidents of theft, accidents, misconduct, or security breaches.
- Develop and conduct regular training and awareness programmes for employees on safety and security practices.
- Prepare and present periodic reports on security performance, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- At least 8–10 years of security management experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or corporate settings.
- Experience managing security personnel, vendors, and contractors.
- Familiarity with manufacturing facility security and regulatory compliance preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent incident investigation and report writing skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and decisively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
- Willing to work at Bukit Raja (Klang) & Petaling Jaya.
