We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Head of Sales, Global Trade Solutions (GTS).

Role Profile

The Malaysia GTS Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Sales Head is responsible for generating new business and managing sales and growth initiatives.

Malaysia GTS is a dynamic and mature market with significant growth potential, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to drive growth.

The responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing a motivated team of GTS Sales Managers across Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB).
  • Identifying market opportunities and developing growth strategies that leverage and develop GTS offerings.
  • Staying updated on technology, regulatory, digital, and product developments to provide best-in-class GTS solutions across Asia.
  • Building go-to-market strategies based on sector patterns, flows, and market insights.
  • Adopting a proposition-led approach to scaling GTS services.
  • Managing a portfolio of local, regional, and global GTS accounts to meet clients' trade and working capital needs.
  • Developing and executing growth plans to target new opportunities, including originating and executing GTS deals.
  • Developing new revenue streams through innovative GTS solutions, including pricing, negotiations, and digitalization.
  • Managing the pipeline and end-to-end growth process.
  • Leading growth initiatives with strategic direction, detailed pipeline management, and quality solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with lending and risk policies aligned with market practices.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, to maximize trade and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Developing distribution channel strategies.
  • Acting as an escalation point for critical transactions and issues.
