Job summary

Key elements of the job:

• Lead securities dealing team and execute client orders on Bursa Malaysia (equities, warrants, REITs).
• Manage risk controls, margin requirements, and daily reconciliations for dealing activities.
• Supervise CMSRL representatives, conduct training on Modules 6/7 requirements.
• Report to CEO/Licensed Director; support SC audits and capital adequacy filings.
• Drive trading volumes, client portfolio growth, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate:

• Valid CMSRL for Dealing in Securities (passed SIDC Module 6 & 7).
• Minimum 8 years experience in securities dealing/brokerage operations.
• Malaysia resident, work pass is not sufficient; local residency is required.
• Degree in Finance/Business; Capital Markets Qualification (CMQ) preferred.
• Proven leadership in SC-regulated environment; fit & proper person criteria.
• Fluent in English; Mandarin or Cantonese is an advantage for HQ coordination.
