Head of Quality, Safety , Health & Environment
The incumbent will lead and manage Group QSHE Department and ensure the effective management of the Company Quality, OSH and Environmental Management System (QSHE-MS) as well as adoption and compliance Total Quality Management (TQM). He/She will also need to provide advice to the Management in relation to QSHE matters and assisting all Departments/ subsidiary companies and contractor in establishing sound and effective QSHE-MS.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure TH Properties continually certified with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 with minimum Non-Conformance (NCR)/ Opportunities for Improvement (OFI).
- Ensure all the Group's Projects comply with QSHE-MS Standard and other Legal requirements
- Ensure all Group projects achieve a minimum of 70% CONQUAS/QLASSIC score.
- Promote awareness, effective communication and implementation of QSHE best practice at all levels within Company's business and its contractors in transforming the Company culture to a higher standard.
- To ensure that sustainable development is about doing business genuinely and in ways that take full account all risks and opportunities.
- Verify the QSHE risks during project development and ensure they are being managed in accordance with the QSHE-MS.
- Monitor external development in QSHE, including developments in legislation, guidelines and regulation and advice on changes to QSHE policy or practice.
- To participate on incident/accident investigation as required, and ensure immediate actions are managed and subsequent learning.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or Professional Degree in Engineering or Environmental/Safety & Health or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years' experience with extensive exposure in QSHE or other relevant experiences
- Strong understanding and working experience in Quality, OSH and Environmental Management System (QSHE-MS)
- Possesses broad experience in QSHE-MS auditing; Lead Auditor certification in QSHE-MS will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in Integrated Management System (IMS) is an added advantage.
