KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital seeks a Chief Pharmacist to lead pharmaceutical services in line with modern practice and hospital policy. The role ensures proper dispensing, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance for optimal patient care.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff management, and liaison with MOH and suppliers. The position requires substantial hospital experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or MBA/Masters in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Registered with the Malaysian Board of Pharmacy and possess Poison License A.
• Undefined (not to be used).

Mansioni

• Ensure all drugs, including dangerous and psychotropic substances, are handled, checked, and recorded per relevant acts and hospital policies.
• Maintain liaison with MOH Pharmacy Enforcement Officers; ensure inspections and documentation are timely.
• Implement monitoring systems for compliance with GPP, regulations, and internal audits.
• Plan, develop and implement strategic and operational objectives for Pharmacy Services.
• Plan, manage and control service budget, manpower, and equipment.
• Review staff rosters, annual leave, overtime, and documentation for accuracy.
• Oversee pharmacy systems (HIS, inventory) for pricing, stock control and billing.
• Review and update drug price lists; ensure prompt system updates.
• Lead quality improvement projects to enhance patient safety and service standards.
• Produce monthly reports on KPIs, medication errors, ADRs, and sentinel events for HQ.
