Overview

The Opportunity: This position is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, within the Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD). EPD focuses on delivering high-quality, trusted medicines that help improve health outcomes for patients across various therapeutic areas. As the Head of Marketing, you’ll lead the ethical, OTC, and vitamins portfolio, driving market leadership and revenue growth. You’ll collaborate closely with commercial operations, regulatory, finance, and business development teams to develop and execute impactful marketing strategies across offline, online, and digital channels.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and develop marketing strategies for EPD Ethical and OTC portfolios, focusing on HCP/patient insights.
  • Set market share objectives, sales targets, and performance goals.
  • Drive execution of marketing initiatives and campaigns across ethical and trade channels.
  • Support the vitamins portfolio in collaboration with distributors and internal stakeholders.
  • Build and lead digital and e-commerce strategies for the OTC portfolio.
  • Champion multichannel engagement (MCE) strategies to enhance HCP reach and satisfaction.
  • Introduce value-added services (Beyond the Pill) for HCPs, pharmacists, and patients.
  • Manage brand budgets and expenditures effectively.
  • Identify and develop business cases for new product opportunities.
  • Oversee new product development aligned with market trends and business goals.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to direct and indirect reports.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Pharmacy, Nutrition, Science, or equivalent.
  • Strong foundation in marketing principles and end-to-end marketing management.
  • Deep understanding of HCP/customer needs and data-driven engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing, content creation, SEO, and eCommerce.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing and digital management within healthcare/pharmaceutical MNCs.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing integrated brand plans.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and influencing skills.
