About the role

Join the dynamic team at MSS BIOFRESH SDN. BHD. as their new Head of Management. This full-time position based in Johor Bahru, Johor will see you lead a team of professionals in the cleaning services industry. You will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategic objectives and ensuring operational excellence across all areas of the business.

What you'll be doing

Strategic Planning

Support and advising managing director on decision making.

Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental and company goals

Support in strategic management and development plan for the company.

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and productivity

Represent the company at industry events and liaise with clients to build strong relationships

Communication

Communicate organizational goals and ensure alignment within the team

Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts

Oversee all management functions including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling

Manage and motivate a team of cleaning professionals, providing guidance and support as needed

Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance in collaboration with the finance team.

Oversee the preparation and submission of tenders for cleaning contracts (government & private sector).

Coordinate tender documentation: company profiles, licenses, certificates (CIDB, SSM, etc.), technical proposals, BOQ, and pricing.

Monitor key performance indicators and make data-driven decisions to optimize business performance

Maintain and update all mandatory registrations (ePerolehan, CIDB, SPKK, etc.)

Support audits, tax submissions, and financial compliance activities.

Monitor tender portals, deadlines, and ensure timely submission.

Oversee sourcing and purchasing of cleaning supplies, uniforms, equipment, and general office needs.

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Implement HR policies, performance evaluations, and disciplinary procedures.

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and HR planning to ensure staffing meets contract and operational needs.

What we're looking for

Extensive experience (8+ years) in a management role

Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve outstanding results

Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

Strong financial management and budgeting skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field
