Job summary

Carlsberg Malaysia seeks an experienced Manager, Maintenance Planning to lead the packaging maintenance planning function in Shah Alam, Selangor. The role emphasizes planning, scheduling, CMMS governance, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and enhance reliability.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and external service providers, and drive data-driven decisions to optimize maintenance performance across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering/maintenance field.
• 7–10 years in maintenance/engineering in manufacturing.
• 3+ years in maintenance planning/execution, FMCG or process industries.
• Experience with CMMS/SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage maintenance planning and scheduling activities.
• Act as CMMS superuser and ensure system governance and data quality.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans.
• Manage backlogs and ensure quality of work orders and closures.
• Implement running-hours-based maintenance strategies to improve asset performance.
• Support condition-based maintenance by integrating inspection data.
• Develop and maintain maintenance dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Coordinate plant shutdowns, overhauls, and major inspections.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and external providers.
• Lead continuous improvement and reliability initiatives using data-driven insights.
