Your key responsibilities:

Being responsible for the direction, control and coordination of all Finance related activities within Asia Pacific, developing and implementing plans, policies and procedures for providing the financial resources to conduct and enhance the business in Asia Pacific, leading, directing, and developing the heads of Regional Accounting, Regional Tax and Regional Treasury, as well as directing the Heads of Accounting and Treasury within the Region.

  • Finance/ Treasury: Being responsible for the definition of Asia Pacific's financial policy and its alignment with the Group's current and long-term business objectives and managing the funding of B. Braun operations and managing cash flows in your area of responsibility in alignment with the Head of Controlling Asia Pacific and the Head of SSC Asia Pacific.
  • Accounting/Audit: Being responsible for the evaluation of Asia Pacific's financial situation, overseeing the company's closing processes and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports in your area of responsibility, reviewing and evaluating the performance of Asia Pacific in your area of responsibility and ensuring compliance with Group/statutory accounting standards within your area of jurisdiction. Assist in the yearly co-ordination and issuance of Group Audit/Statutory Audit Accounts.
  • Treasury / Bank: Being responsible for safeguarding the assets of companies in Asia Pacific, negotiating agreements with banks and ensuring adherence to covenants thereof, liaising with the representatives of B. Braun Partner Banks in Asia Pacific on regular basis and ensuring the financing and liquidity of the companies in Asia Pacific in accordance with the B. Braun Group's guidelines.
  • Tax: Manage and being responsible for the tax operations and compliance of all B. Braun Malaysian entities. Supporting tax compliance of all legal entities in your area of responsibility including all inter-company business relations, transfer pricing operations & documentation and support optimizing Asia Pacific's fiscal situation in alignment with legal requirements and the B.Braun Group's policies.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with local and Group policies regarding your area of responsibility, liaising with Corporate Functions (esp. Accounting, Treasury, Taxes, Sustainability) in order to align local procedures with corporate directions and guidelines and implementing financial risk strategies.
  • Group Reporting: Being responsible for the preparation of regional / divisional reports for your area of responsibility. Assist in the co-ordination and compliance and timely submission of Group reporting such as Group Sustainability Reporting.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of regional experience in a senior finance role within a multinational corporation.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Proven leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • High ethical standards and strong regulatory compliance knowledge.
  • Technological proficiency and familiarity with financial systems and tools.
