The role
Responsible for all financial aspects of the local subsidiary and ensuring compliance with local legal and tax requirements, as well as corporate accounting standards (IFRS). Support local Sales, Service, Operations, and inside sales organizations in accordance with corporate standards and compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare the monthly Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statements, cash flow statement, and monthly IFRS Reporting Package.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual financial audits and internal control system (ICS).
- Work closely with the management team to develop and improve company-wide systems and procedures.
- Oversee daily finance operations including Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
- Assist in month-end closing by reviewing journal entries and accounting schedules for accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve O2C, P2P, and R2R issues promptly.
- Collaborate with overseas finance shared services following recent migration.
- Ensure internal controls are in place and assist in policy formulation if necessary.
- Comply with local statutory tax and legal requirements.
- Manage all financial activities of the local subsidiaries.
- Coordinate with external finance partners such as payroll, tax, and auditors.
- Prepare, analyze, and coordinate account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare budgets according to corporate guidelines, analyzing and consolidating financial data, and recommending plans.
- Coach and mentor the finance team.
- Work closely with the Regional Finance Director.
- Interact with Group Finance functions (Tax, Controlling, Accounting, Treasury).
- Partner with the country leader on financial matters.
- Assist with statutory audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Quarterly Surveys).
What we need to see from you
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or ACCA/CPA qualification.
- At least 8 years of experience in finance, accounting, auditing; prior experience as a Finance Manager preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably NAV.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience with Group Reporting, preferably using Tagetik.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, meticulousness, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, good time management, and high organization skills.
- Experience in continuous process improvement.
