Job description

The Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH) is a leading organization dedicated to promoting continuous quality improvements and safety in the Malaysian healthcare arena. Established in 1997, MSQH is recognized nationally and internationally for its efforts in improving the provision of healthcare services in Malaysia.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in the areas of responsibility above.
• Proficient with knowledge of accounting software, namely SQL Financial Accounting (advantage), Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Drive, Calendar), and other online collaborative tools.
• Conversant in English & Bahasa Malaysia, both written & spoken.
• Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, and a resilient character.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently with little supervision.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Manage and oversee the financial team.
• Manage full set of accounts and reconciliation of accounts.
• Prepare monthly income and expenditure statements, financial position, cash flow statements, and treasurer’s reports.
• Support tracking and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Manage and maintain the fixed asset register.
• Analyze financial data to provide measurable reports for improvement.
• Develop financial and accounting policies and procedures.
