Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in engineering, overseeing multiple teams.
• Proven ability to develop strategy, governance and processes.
• Experience in large-scale, complex engineered-product environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead three engineering teams of ~30 people and provide overall technical leadership.
• Develop and execute the engineering strategy aligned with long-term objectives.
• Coach and develop engineering managers and senior engineers.
• Review and optimise organisational structure, responsibilities and processes.
• Drive new product and technology development from concept to implementation.
• Establish and improve engineering standards and governance.
• Oversee budgeting, workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, PM and Commercial functions.
• Provide senior management with recommendations on technical strategy and investments.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers and external partners.
• Develop succession plans and strengthen long-term capability.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.
