Job summary

MDIS Malaysia International is seeking a Head of Education, Language & General Studies to lead the School’s strategic planning, teaching excellence, and program development. You will align staff with college policies, oversee budgeting and resource allocation, and drive revenue-generating initiatives.

You will manage recruitment, performance reviews, and academic standards while promoting a culture of learning and professional development across departments.

Qualifications

• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Strong staff leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to design and implement educational strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plan for the School with staffing and resource planning.
• Engage staff and senior officers to devise and approve the School’s plan.
• Review School performance against objectives in the strategic plan and resources.
• Market programs, lead promotions, and ensure articulation rate >80%.
• Oversee financial planning, resource allocation, and expenditure in line with policies.
• Manage resource allocation within the School.
• Organize workshops or courses to generate new revenue streams.
• Handle staff recruitment within the School remit.
• Foster a supportive environment and staff development.
• Allocate duties and manage staff per College policies.
• Assess teaching delivery of lecturers and maintain standards.
• Responsible for program management, teaching, and academic policy.
• Ensure high-quality teaching and ongoing academic standards.
• Promote learning culture addressing student and staff needs.
• Develop professional matters related to accreditation bodies.
