About the Team

The Head of Customs Management (AP wo.CN) is responsible for developing and leading the ZF AP outside CN Customs Management strategy in alignment with the Global Customs Management Strategies, processes and standards.

What you can look forward to asHead of Customs Management (AP wo.CN):

• Definition and implementation of a “Regional Customs Management Strategy” in alignment with the Global Customs Management Strategy/Team.
• Be the AP outside CN Part of the Global Customs Management Team as highest decision-making body within ZF regarding customs topics
• Implement standards and methods for customs compliance within the region, thus ensuring region-wide adherence to AP government customs regulations.
• Drive the Internal Customs Control System (ICCS) while carrying out Quick Checks on plant level to ensure customs compliance within customs related topics.
• Define, Describe, Implement and Control relevant procedures to benefit from the usage of regional “Free Trade Agreements” (e.g. lower duties and costs).
• Manage, Apply for, Keep, Ensure “International Security Initiatives” (AEO/C-TPAT/OEA) whenever in use or needed to be a reliable partner of the customs authority within the supply chain.

Your Profile as Head of Customs Management (AP wo.CN):

• Extremely deep Customs Background / on eye level with reg. authorities
• High practical experience within customs at all levels
• Strong knowledge of tariff classification topics as well as country of origin issues
• Strong knowledge of import/export related regulations and procedures
• Strong knowledge about existing Free-Trade-Agreements and related processes
• Strong leadership skills (team/matrix/interfaces/projects)
