Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Corporate Finance & Treasury to join our team!

In this role, you will be the key financial risk manager for the Group, overseeing critical financial risks, including corporate liquidity, investments, financing, insurance, and hedging. You will also be responsible for corporate finance advisory activities such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestments, and restructuring.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and recommend the target capital structure for the Group in alignment with industry best practices, including developing the implementation plan.
  2. Develop capital allocation strategies to ensure optimal allocation of resources to support the Group’s capital requirements.
  3. Provide strategic direction on cash management and treasury operations to ensure liquidity sufficiency.
  4. Lead the Corporate Finance Project department, acting as the in-house corporate/financial advisor for the Group, providing advisory in all M&A activities, and working with leadership on financial strategies, targets, budgets, and execution.
  5. Evaluate potential acquisitions, investments, and partnerships; oversee the end-to-end M&A process, including strategic fit, due diligence, valuation, negotiations, and post-closing issues.
  6. Maintain deep knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks for financing, M&A, or capital markets; advise senior management and the board on impacts.
  7. Advise other departments and subsidiaries on corporate finance matters and collaborate on transaction proposals.
  8. Develop capital allocation frameworks and long-term funding plans to support growth ambitions.
  9. Review and formulate short, medium, and long-term funding strategies aligned with operational needs and growth plans.
  10. Create financial strategies and metrics to monitor and measure performance.
  11. Provide strategic guidance on hedging requirements and oversee the development of related policies.
  12. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments, accounting standards, valuation methodologies, and market conditions.
  13. Manage relationships with banks, advisors, investors, and other stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  1. Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  2. Professional certifications such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA, etc.
  3. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience.
  4. Strong leadership qualities and collaborative approach.
  5. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills; in-depth knowledge of financial risks.
  6. Strong management, conflict resolution skills, and ability to multitask.
  7. Expertise in the aviation industry is preferred.
