This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, market share, shopper marketing and sales growth across our portfolio of wellness, personal care, and healthcare products.
This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, regional stakeholders, and external partners to localize global strategies for the Malaysian market.
Responsibilities of this role are:
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive annual marketing plans in line with company objectives and market opportunities.
- Translate global brand strategies into locally relevant marketing initiatives.
Brand Management
- Build and manage the brand equity of Himalaya’s product portfolio in Malaysia and Singapore.
- Lead ATL, BTL, digital marketing, and PR campaigns to strengthen brand visibility and consumer engagement.
- Work closely with global/regional brand teams to ensure brand consistency.
Product Marketing & Innovation
- Conduct market analysis and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead product launches, promotional activities, and product life cycle management.
Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
- Drive integrated digital marketing strategies (SEO/SEM, social media, influencers, content marketing).
- Collaborate with e-commerce and sales teams to support online sales and brand presence.
Shopper Marketing
- Develop and execute shopper marketing programs in collaboration with sales and distribution partners.
- Provide marketing support for key accounts, modern trade, general trade, and pharmacy channels.
Budget Management
- Manage marketing budgets effectively and ensure ROI-driven campaigns.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and develop direct reports.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance marketing culture.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with regional office and global marketing teams for alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Manage relationships with external agencies (creative, media, PR, digital, research).
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA graduates would be preferred.
- 10 years of experience in marketing and shopper marketing in the Personal Care, Healthcare, or Wellness industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing brand and marketing initiatives in Malaysia.
- Experience in digital marketing and e-commerce is essential.
- Prior experience in managing at least one subordinate is preferred.
