Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Head of Data and Analytics to spearhead an AI-first transformation and lead the development of next-generation intelligent platforms. This role will own the end-to-end data, analytics, and AI strategy, driving adoption of AI-powered self-serve analytics while ensuring platform scalability and cost efficiency.

The successful candidate will have 10+ years in data/AI roles with 3+ years in leadership, expertise in BigQuery, DBT, Airflow, and hands-on generative AI.

Qualifications

• Strong educational background in data science, computer science, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in data, analytics, and AI roles, with a minimum of 3 years in leadership.
• Hands-on with generative AI, LLMs and machine learning; skilled with the modern data stack.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data, analytics, and AI strategy.
• Define and execute a roadmap for an AI-native data platform.
• Drive adoption of AI-powered self-serve analytics and ensure scalability.
• Lead a high-performing data organization and foster ownership and experimentation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed intelligence into workflows.
