Job summary

TEEMS Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Head of Active Club to lead the Community Hub's after-school programme, ensuring a safe, engaging and nurturing environment beyond school hours.

You will oversee daily operations, staff, activities and participant wellbeing to provide a positive, active and enriching experience for children. You will recruit and mentor staff, maintain programme quality and build strong relationships with parents, teachers and the Community Hub team, while ensuring safeguarding

Qualifications

Job description

The Head of Active Club leads the Community Hub's after-school programme, providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for children beyond the school day. The role oversees daily operations, staff, activities and participant wellbeing while ensuring every child enjoys a positive, active and enriching experience.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Active Club.

Plan and deliver a variety of engaging activities, including games, creative projects, enrichment and free play.

Recruit, mentor and manage Active Club staff.

Ensure the safety, wellbeing and supervision of all children at all times.

Create a welcoming, inclusive and positive environment where every child feels supported.

Build strong relationships with parents, teachers and the wider Community Hub team.

Manage attendance, registrations and programme administration.

Maintain activity spaces, equipment and resources.

Monitor programme quality and identify opportunities for improvement.

Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety policies.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualification in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum 3 years of experience working with children in an after-school, childcare, education or recreation setting.

Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

First Aid and Safeguarding certification (or willingness to obtain).
