Job Opening: Head of Accounts & HR Coordinator

Company Overview:

Cheaper Connections Sdn Bhd is a fast-growing retail tech company specializing in the sales of new and used iPhones, professional repairs, and accessories. With 17 retail outlets across Malaysia, we are now seeking a responsible and experienced finance leader to revamp our internal accounting structure and support HR-related functions.

Position: Head of Accounts & HR Coordinator

Salary Range: RM 8,000 – RM 10,000 (based on experience)

- Lead the cleanup and restructuring of internal accounting systems, including AR/AP, bank reconciliation, and outlet account consolidation

- Oversee and unify financial processes across HQ and 17 retail outlets

- Manage and implement LHDN e-Invoice requirements (must have relevant experience)

- Support and execute HR functions such as onboarding/offboarding, payroll, and labor compliance

- Train and supervise the accounting team to enhance department efficiency

- Prepare and present monthly management reports (P&L, cash flow, outlet performance, etc.)

- Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and banking institutions

- Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including team management

• Proven experience handling accounts for multi-branch or retail/wholesale businesses

• Familiarity with accounting systems such as AutoCount, SQL, or Xero

• Solid knowledge of Malaysia’s latest e-Invoice framework and implementation

• Basic HR and labor law knowledge in the Malaysian context is an added advantage

• Hands-on, responsible, and willing to lead problem-solving and system setup

• Strong communication and stress management skills
