Your new company
You will be working for a dynamic, well-reputable company within the Pharmaceutical industry who is looking for a Head of Legal & Compliance to be based in Selangor. Due to increasing demand within the market, a competent senior professional is needed to lead and pioneer their robust team.
Your new role
As the Head of Legal & Compliance, your responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Negotiating and drafting legal documents across all business units to ensure the organisation's operational needs are supported adequately.
  • Provide recommendations in accordance to the changes within legal changes and the impact on the organisation
  • Review internal and roll out legal policies and procedures
  • Keeping track of the updates in laws and regulations to ensure compliance is in accordance with statutory
  • Maintaining strong business partnership with external and internal stakeholders
  • Ensuring risk management practices are aligned with industry practices and well-integrated within the governance processes
  • Upholding PHARMA guidelines and SOPs
  • Set up and roll out the local compliance processes and provide training across the organisation
  • Develop, monitor and maintain data privacy and protection policies and procedures
What you'll need to succeed
In order to qualify for this role, you must:
  • Possess minimum of 10 years working experience in Legal & Compliance within Pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong technical knowledge in the PhAMA Code of Practice
  • Well articulated with strong communication and business partnering skills
  • Regional exposure is highly advantageous
