Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group Legal & Compliance Department, providing strategic direction and leadership across legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
- Report directly to the Senior Vice President, Corporate Services, and serve as the key advisor to the Board, Senior Management, and business units.
- Advise on corporate governance, risk management, and legal issues affecting the organisation.
- Oversee drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to safeguard the company’s interests.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, licences, and internal policies across business operations.
- Drive the company’s ethics, integrity, and compliance agenda, including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and conflict of interest programmes.
- Manage relationships with regulators, external legal counsel, and key stakeholders.
- Lead investigations, audits, and disciplinary processes where required.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing legal and compliance team.
