Responsible to lead, plan, develop and monitor financial management system, procedures and internal control; maintain financial accounts, management accounts, manage treasury function, company budgeting and statutory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead, plan, develop and monitor financial management system, procedures and internal control.
  2. Provide business support services and office/general administration aspects of the company inclusive of obtaining the fund (ABM fund, Project Accounts and SIRIM fund), reporting to stakeholders, highlighting critical issues to management in areas under control, procurement, assets management and ICT management according to the annual business plan as approved by management.
  3. Provide leadership and supervisory function of the administration function in the functional area of procurement of supplies, works and services and general administration of SIRIM Academy, ensuring efficient administrative operations.
  4. Provide leadership and guidance to develop, enforce, maintain and monitor policy, procedures and systems for the department in order to strengthen integrity and governance, quality, OSH, environmental and business performance.
  5. Drive, demonstrate and cultivate behaviours which reflect accountability in the working environment for the success of SIRIM Cultural Beliefs amongst subordinates or team members to build a sustainable high-performance team.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or other equivalent disciplines.
  2. Candidate with post-graduate/professional qualification will have an added advantage.
  3. Have at least 15 years working experience in a related field.
  4. Minimum 5 years in a managerial position is an added advantage.
  5. In-depth knowledge of products & services offered by the company and understanding the industrial trend in terms of training and consultation.
  6. Possess excellent organisational and planning skills with strong ability in strategic thinking and problem solving.
  7. Exceptional presentation, communication, negotiation and writing skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  8. Possess innovative mindset and ability to align technology initiatives with strategic business objectives.
