Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Job Purpose

  • Lead the management of the Group’s overall Enterprise Risk Management and Emerging Risks.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Risk Management team.
  • Develop strategies and drive the implementation of the risk management framework, methodology, systems, and programs for the Group, securing stakeholder buy-in.

Risk Management Framework

Assist the Chief Risk, Integrity, Compliance Officer (CRICO) in managing risks across the Group, including but not limited to:

A) Internal Operations

· Review and enhance the Group’s risk management roadmap, policies, framework, methodology, and systems. Establish or improve risk standards and processes to effectively identify, prevent, detect, and mitigate risks.

· Oversee the operation of the risk management framework as designed.

· Ensure effective coordination of the Group's risk management efforts by the risk team.

· Provide ongoing education, briefings, and training to management.

· Develop, review, and enhance the Group-wide risk appetite and measurement systems tailored to the industry.

B) External Environment – Best Practices and Risk Trends

· Stay informed about current risk management best practices in the industry.

· Investigate and research emerging risks and trends, advising CRICO, GMD, or management as appropriate.

Risk Identification

· Continuously identify and analyze potential risks to the Group’s assets, earnings, and success.

· Provide quality challenge to risk evaluations — inherent and residual risk, impact, likelihood, and targeted risk — working with operations to ensure practicality and accuracy.

· Conduct annual high-level reviews of threats aligned with the latest strategy, ensuring risks are identified, reviewed, and mitigation plans are in place.

· Review risk assessments for major proposals, investments, or divestments prepared by strategy or operational units.

Risk Strategy and Annual Plans

Develop and propose the annual risk management plan.

Assist in developing the Group’s Risk Management Strategic Plan.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or related fields.
    (Master’s Degree, MBA, or professional certifications such as CRM, FRM, IRM are advantageous.)
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, or related fields.
  • Experience in professional services firms is an added advantage.
  • Proven leadership in risk management initiatives within medium to large organizations.
  • Knowledge of emerging risk trends, regulatory environments, and industry best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience advising senior management.
