Hospital Picaso in Selangor is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support the High Dependency Unit (HDU). You will assist nurses with patient comfort, hygiene, and safety while collaborating with families and the care team to provide compassionate care.

No prior experience is required. A minimum SPM is acceptable, and basic English skills are needed. The role emphasizes accountability and following RN guidance to ensure safe patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or equivalent.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and nursing support.
• Basic proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Mature, responsible, and accountable, with a strong work ethic.

Responsabilités

• Receive and understand handover reports from the previous shift.
• Assist with dietary requests, including meal ordering for new admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Perform bed-making and change bed linen as required.
• Assist patients with bathing, sponging, and changing clothing.
• Provide personal hygiene care and pressure area care to ensure patient comfort and well-being.
