Job summary

Henkel Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Finance Controller to lead financial planning, performance monitoring and governance. The role partners with business leaders to drive informed decisions and ensure robust financial reporting.

You will manage statements, budgets and KPI tracking, provide analytical insights, and promote continuous improvement across controlling processes. A CPA/CA or ERP SAP knowledge is valued, along with strong business acumen and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of working experience with demonstrated track record as controller.
• Professional Certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of ERP system such as SAP.
• Understanding of accounting and tax knowledge.
• Strong business acumen.
• Self-motivated and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate financial statements, performance tracking reports, budgets and analysis.
• Track KPIs and provide in-depth analysis with improvement suggestions.
• Support business leaders to make well-informed decisions.
• Communicate and present controlling topics proactively to stakeholders.
• Provide independent information to ensure governance and monitoring of objectives.
• Ensure compliance and governance in finance reporting.
• Spread financial controlling knowledge across the company.

About this Position

This role is responsible for financial planning, performance monitoring, business partnering, and governance to help management make informed business decisions.

What You'll Do

• Manages/Coordinates financial statements, business performance tracking reports, annual budgets and analysis reports
• Tracks KPIs and provides in-depth analysis, gives suggestion for the areas to be improved
• Drives and supports the business by assisting business leaders to take best informed decisions
• Communicates and presents pro-actively controlling topics to business stakeholders
• Provides independent & objective information to ensure a systematic control and strict monitoring of planned objectives
• Ensures compliance/governance ensuring the correct application of internal and external guidelines in terms of Finance Reporting
• Spreads financial controlling knowledge and consciousness across the company
• Drives continuous improvement in controlling relevant concepts, processes and tools
• Project management
