A leading manufacturing company seeks a Hard Anodizing Operator responsible for operating and monitoring the anodizing process. The role involves preparing parts, maintaining chemical baths, and ensuring quality of finished products. Candidates must have an SPM or relevant certification, and prior experience in anodizing is preferred.
The Hard Anodizing Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the anodizing process on aluminum and other metal components. This role involves preparing parts, running the anodizing line, maintaining chemical baths, and ensuring the finished product meets quality and safety standards.
Set up, operate, and monitor hard anodizing equipment and process tanks.
Prepare metal parts for anodizing, including cleaning, masking, etching, and racking.
Monitor process parameters such as voltage, temperature, pH, and time.
Maintain chemical baths, perform titrations, and adjust chemical levels as needed.
Inspect parts before and after anodizing for quality and finish.
Maintain accurate production and quality records.
Follow safety procedures, including the use of PPE and proper handling of chemicals.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.
Work closely with quality control and production teams to ensure customer specifications are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Candidates must possess at least an SPM, Certificate or Diploma in the relevant field.
Prior experience in anodizing or metal finishing preferred.
Basic understanding of chemistry and electroplating processes.
Strong understanding of anodizing chemistry, process variables, and equipment operation.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to consistently produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to chemical handling and industrial equipment operation.
This is a fixed-term contract employment for 6 months. If the contract is successfully completed and both sides are satisfied, there have high chances to be converted as permanent employees.
