Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a Quality Engineer to maintain and improve product and process quality across manufacturing. You will work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Suppliers to ensure conformance to requirements and customer expectations.

The role is hands-on on the shop floor, using data and quality tools to identify issues and implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in a related field, relevant manufacturing experience, and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in precision manufacturing.
• Good understanding of manufacturing quality control processes.
• Familiarity with CAPA, IQC/IPQC/OQC, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and basic SPC.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality requirements for incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished products.
• Develop inspection standards, control plans, and quality records.
• Support IQC, IPQC, and OQC processes.
• Verify dimensions, appearance, functionality, and other quality characteristics.
• Monitor inspection results and identify quality trends.
• Maintain measuring equipment and ensure calibration.
• Develop related quality documentation and control plans.
• Lead or support investigations of internal quality problems and customer or supplier issues.
• Apply 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone analysis, Pareto analysis, and basic SPC.
• Perform dimensional and measurement activities and conduct audits as required.
