Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to keep production machinery and equipment in good working order. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting while maintaining accurate service records and spare parts data.

Daily responsibilities include reporting service activities, responding quickly to breakdowns, and ensuring safety, quality and productivity standards are met. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, repairing, troubleshooting and monitoring for facilities equipment.
• Maintain accurate data on spare parts and machine maintenance records.
• Respond to machine breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities

• To carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, repairing, troubleshooting and routing monitoring for facilities equipment
• To carry out daily job report for servicing, repairing, troubleshooting and routing monitoring for facilities equipment for submission to Head of Department
• Respond to all machine breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
• In charge of and to be hands-on in service, repair and maintenance of all machines and equipment
• Keep proper service, repair and maintenance records
• Keep track of machine and equipment parts and prepare timely request for re-orders
• Provide technical information, support and advice to related departments
• Identify critical spare parts to manage and minimize machine breakdown time
• Control / maintain spare parts, maintenance tools, stores and equipments
• To daily operate production machines, tools and equipments
• To carry out inspection and repairing equipment
• Ensure production activities meet targeted quality, productivity and specific standard
• Complete special project work within deadline
• Support and carry out responsibility assigned related to Safety, Health & Environment
