Job summary

BABA ECO GROUP BHD in Simpang Ampat, Penang is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our production team. You will troubleshoot and maintain electrical and mechanical systems on factory equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and moulds, diagnose faults quickly, support mould setups and facility repairs, and uphold clean logs and SOP safety on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing facilities.
• Strong background in electrical wiring/controls or mechanical systems.
• Experience with moulds or plastic injection moulding machinery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, moulds, and general factory facilities.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
• Execute mould setup support, machine servicing, and facility repairs (e.g., wiring, piping, lighting, utility systems).
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance logs and assist in spare parts inventory control.
• Adhere to safety and SOPs on the factory floor.
