Zohorecruit in Penang Hill, Malaysia, seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee sheet metal and machining projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality outputs, and strong cross-functional collaboration. You will coordinate customer drawings, procurement, PPAP, ECN/ECO changes, and risk mitigation, using SolidWorks and Epicor ERP, with 5+ years in project management and manufacturing.

Competenze

• More than 5 years of experience in project management in sheet metal and machining environments.
• Strong project control, planning skills and oversight.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge in sheet metal fabrication, machining, welding, assembly and painting preferred.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D mechanical design software: SolidWorks; able to read customer blueprints.

Mansioni

• Create project schedule, confirm project readiness and outputs.
• Organize project progress, monitor and ensure status remains on track for timely completion.
• Review and translate customer drawings, technical standards, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate procurement activities, track materials and sample submissions; ensure readiness.
• Coordinate trial production and PPAP processes to meet customer specs.
• Record issues in manufacturing and develop action plans to resolve open items.
• Handle issues and risks promptly and seek support for anomalies.
• Coordinate ECN/ECO implementation for design changes and cutover.
• Other duties as assigned by superiors.
