A Guest Service Attendant provides reception services for Guests to contribute to an overall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out and complete audits, as required.

What will I be doing?

As a Guest Service Attendant, you will serve on the Front Office Team, providing services to ensure an exceptional guest experience from check-in to check-out, including completing audits as needed. You will influence first impressions and perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Achieve positive outcomes from guest queries promptly and efficiently
  • Ensure an efficient reception experience, including check-in/out and audits
  • Keep the Guest Service Manager informed of relevant guest feedback and departmental updates
  • Demonstrate high levels of customer service at all times
  • Attend training courses as required and assist with the training and development of the Night Team
  • Possess knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and general hotel services
  • Maximize room occupancy and promote hotel services through up-selling techniques
  • Follow proper procedures for accepting foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash, in line with hotel policies
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
  • Use front-of-house equipment and property management systems according to policies and procedures
  • Adhere to company brand standards
  • Assist other departments as needed
