About the role

As the Guest Experience Manager at the Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring our guests have a memorable stay. This exciting full-time role is based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, where you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated front office and guest services professionals.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the front office and guest services departments, ensuring seamless service delivery
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience, identify and address areas for improvement
  • Train, mentor and motivate the front office and guest services teams to deliver world-class hospitality
  • Liaise with other hotel departments to coordinate guest requests and resolve any issues promptly
  • Analyse guest feedback and data to identify trends and opportunities for service enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures and industry regulations
  • Contribute to the overall success of the hotel by supporting strategic initiatives and special projects

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing front office and guest services teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and technology
  • A passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
