Job summary

Carsome Sdn Bhd is seeking a marketing intern to assist in planning and executing campaigns across our branches in Malaysia. You will support launches, promotions, and in-store branding while preparing materials and trackers for campaigns.

You’ll work with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth execution, track progress, and contribute ideas to boost customer engagement and retail experiences. Training and exposure to event planning are provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
• Strong interest in marketing, branding, events and creative campaigns
• Good communication, organisational and teamwork skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Canva or design tools is a plus
• Proactive, creative, detail-oriented and willing to learn
• Willing to travel to event venues as required
• Hands-on experience in retail marketing and campaign execution

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across CARSOME branches
• Support branch launches, retail promotions, and in-store branding activities
• Help prepare marketing materials, campaign briefs, and project trackers
• Assist in organising marketing events, roadshows, and on-ground activations
• Coordinate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
• Track campaign progress, collect data, and prepare basic performance reports
• Contribute creative ideas to improve customer engagement and retail experiences
