Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant and a current MIA member with a valid Practising Certificate.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance/accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge in financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audit, and internal control.
• Experience in retail, chain store, beauty, or service industry is an added advantage.
• Experience in business expansion, corporate structuring, or listing preparation is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to maintain confidentiality and high professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-spectrum finance and accounting functions.
• Prepare monthly management reports, financial analysis, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial closing.
• Monitor company profitability, costing, and financial performance.
• Strengthen internal control systems and SOP.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, audit, tax, and financial regulations.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and bankers.
• Improve financial governance and reporting standards.
• Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
• Participate in expansion planning, investment analysis, and business decision-making.
• Build scalable finance systems suitable for company growth and future listing preparation.
• Lead and develop the finance team.
• Work closely with directors and HODs to support business operations and growth.
