Job summary

Körber Pharma Packaging AG in Malaysia is seeking a QA Team Lead to head a team conducting pre-delivery quality inspections of machinery and subassemblies and to lead acceptance testing with customers worldwide.

You will document results, report defects, perform root cause analyses with production, and maintain all quality documentation. You will also issue non-conformances when needed and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring accurate controlled documents.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/mechatronic/electrical & electronic engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years related working experience in complex machinery assembly environment, ideally with Quality background.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to interpret / understand technical drawings.
• Knowledge in using Quality measuring equipment.
• Computer literate MS-Windows, SAP would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills, especially good command in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in performing pre-delivery quality inspections of machines and subassemblies and lead acceptance tests.
• Document inspection results accurately and report quality defects.
• Lead root cause analyses with production to resolve defects.
• Issue non-conformance to specifications to Assembly / Tune & Test Teams.
• Maintain quality KPI and prepare machine quality documentation for acceptance tests.
• Interact with customer representatives worldwide during the acceptance test.
• Maintain all controlled document files and inspection reports timely and accurately.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Your role in our team:

• To Lead a Team in performing pre-delivery quality inspections of machines and subassemblies, perform and validate acceptance tests
• To Lead a Team in documenting the result of the inspections accurately and to report the quality defects
• To Lead a Team in working closely with production team to resolve the defects and to perform a root cause analysis
• Having the authority to issue non-conformance to specifications to Assembly / Tune & Test Teams
• To Lead a Team in maintaining and monitor quality KPI
• To Lead a Team in preparing machine quality documentation for acceptance tests and able to interact with customer representatives worldwide during the acceptance test
• To Lead a Team in maintaining all controlled document files and inspection reports in a timely and accurate manner
• Involve in continuous improvement activities
• Authority: To initiate the machine for further processes, if the machine is not according to Koerber Technologies quality specifications and customer's requirements

Your profile:
