Job summary

Edra Power Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Manager - Group Finance & Asset Management (Management Accounting) to oversee treasury functions, cash management, and regulatory compliance. The role drives funding strategies, liquidity planning, and capital markets interactions while leading a finance team.

You will manage FX risk, dividends, and trade facilities, ensure internal controls, and stay updated on policy changes. A strong background in banking, finance, and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance or in any relevant field
• Minimum 10 years' experience in related field, with minimum 3 years in similar capacity but not limited to similar industry
• Experience in people management and leading a team of staff
• Good communication and written skills with sound knowledge of fund raising, credit rating, BNM requirements and other related law/compliances
• Well versed in Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Excel
• MBA, CFA, CIMA, or ACCA are added advantages

Responsibilities

• Manage overall treasury functions of the Group including debt raising exercise and treasury investment with view to obtain best returns
• Lead the cash management operations (daily liquidity, cash flow forecasting, funding, cash investments, management of bank accounts and bank relationships)
• Oversee administration of liquidity and cash management system, introduce new bank technologies, products and services to improve cash cycle and simplify company operations
• Manage and advise on FX exposure and hedging activities, quarterly dividends and repatriations, cash flow and liquidity risk modelling and Treasury policies
• Manage corporate finance transactions, such as letters of credit issuance, bank guarantees issuance, application of new trade facilities and cancellation or renewal of existing trade facilities
• Ensure the company remains in compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures as required
• Manage all the regulatory requirements of rating agencies, banks and financial institutions
• Stay abreast of latest technology, trends, Central Bank policy changes and economic developments
• Support all treasury related disclosures for statutory audit purposes
• Manage and lead a team of staff
• Comply with all applicable SHEQ legal requirements and our stakeholders' specifications by establishing policies, programmes and practices in order to conduct operations in a healthy, safe and environmentally sound manner
