About the job

Company Background

We are representing our client, a well-established and reputable publicly listed organization with a strong presence in the manufacturing and industrial sector, serving both domestic and international markets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review and manage the group accounts function related to the preparation of condensed consolidated accounts, periodic financial reporting, budgets, financial projections, taxation, and audits.
  • Responsible for the preparation, analysis, and review of the group’s financial and management reports, including:
    • Monthly management accounts, financial reports, taxation, and departmental operating reports
    • Quarterly interim financial reports for Bursa
    • Yearly audited accounts and budgets
    • Financial projections
  • Analyze the group and divisional financial performance and support management decision-making by providing financial analysis and business insights.
  • Coordinate with divisional management to produce monthly reports and provide commentary on significant variances to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with authorities by reviewing announcements, circulars, submission documents, and proposals.
  • Conduct and analyze corporate proposals, finance initiatives, and capital raising exercises.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors, tax agents, and authorities to ensure statutory compliance and adherence to financial reporting standards.
  • Review and enhance internal control systems and departmental procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as required on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements
  • Possess professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or be a member of MIA.
  • Experience in audit firms with commercial exposure in a public listed company, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in Group Consolidation is essential.
  • Knowledge of Corporate Finance and financial modeling is advantageous.
  • Analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
