Job summary

Zohorecruit is recruiting on behalf of a premier Malaysia-based global industrial leader for the role of Assistant Manager – Corporate EHS in Shah Alam. The role anchors group-level governance, policy standardization, and multi-site safety compliance across the conglomerate.

Based at the Group Headquarters, you will provide technical advisory, drive ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementations, and lead audits with a strong emphasis on RCA, CAPA, and data-driven dashboards for executive reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OSH or engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, heavy industry or multi-site environments.
• Experience coordinating safety governance, audits, or compliance across multiple plants is an advantage.
• Thorough knowledge of Malaysian OSH, health and environmental legislation, and regulatory inspection workflows.
• Experience implementing and auditing ISO 14001 (EMS) and ISO 45001 (OHSMS).
• Certifications such as DOSH Safety & Health Officer / Green Book SHO or ISO Lead Auditor are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Policy harmonization and group-wide standardization of EHS policies, SOPs and risk management systems.
• Provide governance to site-level EHS leads to ensure implementation of Group directives.
• Monitor and enforce group-wide compliance with national OSHA, Environmental and related legislation.
• Plan, coordinate and lead group-level EHS compliance audits, environmental assessments, and risk reviews.
• Maintain group EHS performance records, dashboards, and executive risk reports.
