Group Chief Executive Officer

We are seeking a visionary, dynamic, and results-driven leader to helm METEOR Group as the Group CEO. This strategic role will drive the overall business direction, growth, innovation, and operational excellence across our diverse portfolio of subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic leadership and vision to ensure long-term sustainability and growth of the Group.
2. Drive business expansion, diversification, and digital innovation across all subsidiaries.
3. Strengthen METEOR’s positioning as a key player in technology-enhanced education and solutions.
4. Foster synergistic collaboration among subsidiaries for maximum impact and efficiency.
5. Represent METEOR in engaging with strategic stakeholders, including industry partners, regulators, and academic collaborators.
6. Ensure strong governance, financial discipline, and organizational effectiveness.
7. Promote a culture of innovation, agility, and high performance throughout the Group.

Qualification and Experience:

1. Possess excellent academic qualification with a distinguished track record of professional achievement and significant leadership experience.
2. Minimum 15 years of experience with at least 7 years serving at Top Management level (C-Suite or equivalent) in an institution/organisation.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead complex organizations with diverse business interests.
4. Extensive knowledge across diverse industries, particularly in education (early childhood, higher education, and vocational/TVET), training and development, information technology, and property, with exposure to both local and international markets.
5. Strong business acumen with a successful track record in strategic planning, transformation, and execution.
6. Exhibit entrepreneurial drive and strong financial acumen.

Terms of Appointment:

This is a contract-based position. We offer an attractive and competitive remuneration package that commensurate with the qualification and experience to the successful candidate.
