A compliance-focused organization in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Compliance Director to oversee the compliance function and risk management. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of senior management experience in risk and compliance, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities include coordinating compliance programs and advising management on compliance strategies. An MBA and relevant certifications are preferred.

Coordinate and execute the establishment of the compliance function to oversee compliance risk across the Group.
Identify, plan, and execute Compliance Programs to ensure controls in managing compliance risk are adequate and operating as intended.
Facilitate and assess iHoldings’ activities to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor designated Officers of each subsidiary to ensure compliance with their legal and regulatory obligations.
Coordinate the identification and management of compliance risk at the Group level, ensuring consistent compliance monitoring and testing.
Establish and oversee Company Risk Management mechanisms for assessing and monitoring compliance risks.
Conduct compliance risk assessment training workshops.
Advise management and business partners on implementing compliance programs and risk management strategies.
Handle applications, registrations, and filings with government agencies on behalf of management.
Evaluate subsidiaries and departments regularly for compliance with processes, procedures, and controls.
Follow up on compliance issues requiring investigation.
Evaluate compliance systems and ensure adequate software is in place.
Ensure internal audit and compliance training programs are established and updated.
Work with internal audit to establish strategic workflows and oversee departmental budgets.
Understand various business initiatives and their implications on practices and strategy.
Manage external engagements to achieve desired outcomes.
Analyze data on risk and organizational trends.
Develop and oversee a risk-based internal audit plan and budget.
Suggest new controls and procedures to promote good business practices.
Undertake special assignments and ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting; MBA preferred.
Certified Integrity Officer / Certified Internal Auditor.
Minimum 15 years of senior management experience in risk and compliance.
Strategic planner, strong leader, and effective communicator at all levels.
Good understanding of finance management (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
