Group Accountant

About the role

Megahock Pipes & Profile Manufacturing Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and strategic Group Accountant to join our team. In this leadership role, you will oversee all financial operations and provide expert financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability. This is a full-time position based in Senai, Johor.

What you'll be doing

1. Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure sound financial management.
2. Oversee the accounting team and processes for accurate and timely financial reporting.
3. Analyze financial data, identify trends and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to the executive team.
4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
5. Partner with department heads to align financial decisions with business objectives.
6. Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial stakeholders.
7. Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.

What we're looking for

1. Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 5+ years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in manufacturing.
2. Deep knowledge of financial management, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting best practices.
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to translate financial data into actionable insights.
4. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen aligned with company goals.
5. Proven leadership in developing high-performing finance teams.
6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for cross-functional collaboration.
