Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong Group Accountant to take ownership of the monthly group consolidation and reporting process across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions. This role is critical in ensuring timely, accurate, and audit-ready financial information is produced for submission to the ultimate holding company.

You will work closely with regional finance teams and the Group Finance Lead to prepare consolidated financials, manage inter-company transactions and eliminations, and support group-level reporting, budgeting, and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, consolidation package and annual financial reports for ultimate holding company.
  • Oversee operational accounting including GL, intercompany transactions
  • Manage end-to-end financial closing and maintain accurate books, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and timely reporting.
  • Oversee maintenance of chart of accounts
  • Assist the HQ team in budgeting and forecasting exercises, ensuring alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
  • Support ad hoc financial projects and analysis as required by the management team.

Job Requirements:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or ACCA, CA or its equivalent.
  • Over 5 years of relevant working experience. Big 4 accounting firm experience desired but not a must
  • Experience in consolidation desired but not a must
  • Experience with Netsuite will be a plus
  • Positive and result-driven
  • Good sense of logic and analytical thinking.
  • A team player with good organization skill.
  • Hands-on/relevant working experience in a finance operating environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
