Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surface grinding machines with micron-level accuracy.
• Dress and true wheels using single-point diamond dressers or rotary dressers.
• Handle multi-axis grinding operations using programmable CNC grinding machines.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and 2D/3D CAD files.
• Convert CAD data into grinding process plans.
• Work with CAD designers to optimize part geometries for manufacturability.
• Carry out form grinding to achieve complex contours.
• Perform centerless grinding for shaft and round parts.
• Use grinding processes for carbide, hardened steel, and exotic metals.
• Use CAD to visualize tool paths, fixturing, and grinding clearance zones.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to modify CAD drawings based on actual results.
