Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and deliver grid connection for RE and data center projects through the full lifecycle
• Assess regulatory requirements and perform internal grid connection feasibility studies
• Manage end-to-end grid connection or power supply applications with timely submissions
• Support project development including balance-of-plant tendering and grid considerations
• Maintain relationships with service providers and OEMs to drive performance and standards
• Monitor grid intelligence; implement new connection methods and standardize arrangements to reduce timelines and costs
• Identify value opportunities within transmission and distribution networks
• Manage external consultants across technical, commercial, and delivery scopes to achieve practical connection outcomes
• Proactively engage stakeholders to negotiate technical/commercial positions and accelerate approvals
• Maintain strong relationships with government agencies, grid companies, and consultants for timely market intelligence

Job description

You will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and executing grid connection for RE projects as well as power supply for data center projects.

You will be responsible for liaising the relevant stakeholders (government agencies, grid companies, power consultant etc.) to get the grid connection approval or power supply confirmation letter from TNB or/and ST(EC) as the case may be.

You will assess regulatory requirements, conduct internal grid connection feasibility studies, and drive grid connection applications from initial enquiry through to commercial operation.

You will also participate in regulatory and industry forums to keep the company updated on regulatory connection requirements, and potential business opportunities.

Key Responsibilitie

• sEvaluate, plan, and deliver grid connection for RE projects as well as power supply for data center projects throughout the full project lifecycle
• .Assess regulatory compliance requirements and conduct internal grid connection point feasibility studies
• .Manage grid connection or/and power supply applications end-to-end, ensuring timely submission and smooth progression through regulatory processes
• .Provide necessary support during project development, including supporting balance-of-plant tendering and ensuring grid-related factors are fully considered
• .Maintain strong relationships with service providers and OEMs to drive service performance and alignment with company standards
• .Monitor grid intelligence, implement new connection methods driven by policy updates and industry standards, and develop standardized grid connection arrangements to improve efficiency, reduce timelines and costs, while maintaining or enhancing plant performance
• .Identify and unlock value opportunities within transmission and distribution networks
• .Manage external consultants across technical, commercial, and delivery scopes, including schedules, budgets, quality, and technical direction, to achieve practical and efficient connection outcomes
• .Proactively engage with key stakeholders to negotiate technical and commercial positions, resolve connection issues efficiently, and accelerate approval and registration timelines
• .Maintain strong working relationships and open communication with relevant stakeholders (government agencies, grid companies, power consultant etc.) to secure timely market intelligence and support successful project delivery
