Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Graphic Illustrator in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This role involves creating designs for various media including book covers and advertisements, with an emphasis on bilingual (English and Mandarin) skills. Job description

Graphic Illustrator (Fresh Graduate / Publisher)

Create freehand drawings and coloured diagrams using a drawing tablet

Design book covers, posters, brochures, advertisements, and more

Layout designs and key-in text for projects

Revise artwork as needed based on project feedback

Search for reference materials (photos, magazines, internet, etc.)

Output and check film quality before printing

Adjust and test colours for final printing

Back up completed artwork daily

Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or Animation

1–2 years of experience preferred (fresh graduates are welcome)

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign

Able to create designs in both English and Mandarin

Proficiency in English and Mandarin is essential for handling bilingual illustration and design tasks.

Willing to work in Taman Pelangi, Johor Bahru.
